Finally, I am able to post again! For the longest time, I have been unable to my access my site. What. A. Drag. But, here I am! Still alive and definitely kicking! It's so nice to be able to finally put finger to key and just let the words spill out. Although, I don't have too much to say as of late. Except, why is life so expensive?

Even for a kid that still lives at home (and before we get carried away, I'm 19) things are pricey. Now the expenses are about to start piling up. Of course, these are definitely first-world problems, but you can't say anything because you're either reading this on your phone or laptop. Anyways...

1. Textbooks - And you thought tuition would run you into the ground. I rented my books last semester and I still paid up to $250.00.

2. Dorm Supplies - Sure, you can save money by keeping the same decor that you had last year, but that's not what is going to hurt you. It's the shampoo, conditioner, bathroom cleaner, toilet paper, disinfectant wipes/spray, trashbags, hairspray, etcetra that make you drown in ramen noodles and one-dollar microwave sandwiches.

3. fuel, Fuel, FUEL! - 'Nuff said.

4. Back to School Clothes - So, this may not be that necessary. but when you are a girl like me, it's totally necessary. I've attempted cutting costs by becoming a DIY guru, but still...Some of us just weren't born with a knack for sewing (even if there are step-by-step instructions).

Money. Why can't it grow on trees like it's supposed to?

Love,

Heldie
