Welcome to another Heldie's He** Yeahs! Today's topic- beauty vloggers. Just like everyone who has access to the inter-webs, my social media has been flooded with tips and tricks from some of the best guys and gals at the top of their beauty game. Scrolling below, you will find my top 15 favorites from YouTube and Instagram. Each of their channels have been linked, so if you're interested, please feel free to just click on their name and see these masters at work.
I recently happened upon RawBeautyKristi on Instagram this past year and decided to pop on over to her YouTube channel. Not only does she do some killer makeup, but she stays pretty humble, talking about the ups and downs she has within her life. 10/10 recommend any of her GRWMs.
You may recognize this gal from a little ol' place called Buzzfeed. Recently, however, she decided to break away from Buzzfeed and pursue her own YouTube channel, much to my pleasure. Not only does she represent her inner darkness with bold eyeliner, but her first impression videos are honest and straight to the point. Plus, she isn't afraid to talk about her menstrual cycle on the Internet. And I respect that.
3. Jackie Aina
Not only is she flawless, but her videos always tend to make me giggle. She may be a different skin tone than me, but that doesn't mean she can't teach me a few tips and tricks regarding makeup. Her reviews are perfection and her stance as a woman of color in the beauty industry is inspirational to all skin tones.
4. Lucy Garland
She's self taught and amazing. Her style of makeup may not be considered "wearable" by most people, but that doesn't take away from the sheer talent this chick has. Want to be a fierce drag queen any day of the year, but don't know how to get there? My suggestion- Lucy Garland.
If you enjoy black lipstick, you'll enjoy Jade The Libra. She's got this cool, rocker chick vibe to her that makes me want to bleach my hair and wear chokers to church. Her clothing hauls are always the bomb.com. If you want to edge up your look, I would refer to Jade The Libra.
A beauty guru to the bone, NikkieTutorials is a blonde bombshell that has taken over the beauty world with great content. With collabs that range from Ofra Cosmetics to Too Faced, NikkieTutorials has solidified her place in the makeup community.
I found Kristen Leanne through her hair dye company, Arctic Fox. I now follow her bright colored head on almost all her social media. She stresses being cruelty free in all her makeup and hair care products and makes me think that unicorns can be grungy too. Plus, she modeled at Hot Topic and that speaks to me on a spiritual level.
Brittany's like the cool girl you see outside Chipotle who has great shoes, but you're afraid to ask where she got them. Another YouTuber I found through hair dye (see the trend?), her videos are short, simple, and to the point which I can appreciate. Sometimes I just want to watch someone put on makeup without a fifteen minute intro.
9. Madeyewlook
I love Halloween. Therefore, I love Madeyewlook. She's a self taught makeup artist and body painter with looks that range from a human quiji board to Harley Quinn. Lex has also been super outspoken about how women are represented in the media. If you're lacking inspiration for a costume, I would check out Lex over at Madeyewlook.
This Canadian beauty queen breaks all the rules by pairing strong eye looks with bold lips. She's like a six foot Morticia Addams with a killer cut crease.
11. Lisa Eldridge

My rock. My muse. Lisa Eldridge is a professional makeup artist known around the globe. She's done the makeup of A list celebs, top models, and covers of some of fashion's biggest magazines. Her ability to do the most glamorous makeups in such a simple looking way is something I envy greatly. Did I mention she's also published?
12. Sarah Rae Vargas
I am always down for someone to promote body positivity, and Miss Vargas does just that. She has the occasional GRWM, but I first came across her channel because of her clothing hauls. I love shopping and because I'm in college and have to decide between Taco Bell or gas for my car, I have to watch someone else shop to get my fix. Sarah Rae Vargas is my drug of choice.
13. Helen Anderson
Helen Anderson is the vlogger that really got me into fashion and makeup. Of course, I was already subscribed to Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, but Helen actually guided me in reaching my inner, fashionable self. Her clothing hauls are top notch, she loves Urban Decay, and she's obsessed with wallpaper.
14. Marzia
Marzia may seem like a random pick compared to the others listed, but I really enjoy her take on fashion. It has a bit more of a cutsie, Audrey Hepburn meets 2017 vibe to it, and sometimes even me, the Queen of Darkness, needs to come back from the dark side and step into the light.
15. Glam & Gore
My name is Heldie and I've been addicted to Mykie from Glam & Gore for a while now. She has beauty videos, hence the "Glam", and creepy, special effects makeup, making up the "Gore" part. Want to be a Disney princess with a killer twist? Check out Mykie.
Love,
Heldie
